Default RC component Slip ons

anyone else running black powder coated RC component slip ons and have rust coming thru. I spent an hour or so with a polisher trying to make the right side slip on look somewhat respectable because it had a bunch of rust/ oxidixation coming thou the coating meanwhile the other one is completely fine. Also the tip looks like the aluminium wasn’t degassed before it was coated and starting to peel off. I get the climate isn’t the best in the great white north, but that shouldn’t matter. It is something you expect on both not just one

I am on my 2nd set, the first were chrome and held up great. When I bought my new bike I ordered RCX headers and slips in black. Took quite a while for them to come in and I was told they had plating issues. Stand up company so I would contact them. Hope things work out for you.

This would irritate me, why is this your responsibility? Do they not keep records of every sale?

I purchased them they one of the top sellers they recommended and not directly thru them. I’m pretty sure I’m out of warranty on them anyways. It doesn’t seem like it but I’ve had this bike almost 4 yrs now. Time flies these days.
