Default Helmet Lock

I'm looking for a helmet lock that attaches to the bike with a machine screw clamp. I've seen the ones that attach to the handlebars. If that's the best it gets then so be it. I have a luggage rack on the fender of the bike and was curious whether or not someone make a clamp the same diameter as the rack bar.

Couldn't you use a small cable style luggage lock to lock it to the rack?

Install was simple and it really is simple to use.
That's pretty slick! Thanks for sharing. That should work for the OP as well, just reuse the luggage rack mounting screw.

I used to work in a chem plant and had to wear a hardhat... 1st thing you learn is don't set it down upside down... eventually something you don't want on your head gets inside it. Because of that I prefer to set mine on the seat or rack and just lock the d ring to the rack when I wish.

Could also go with something like this (https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-NEW-KURYAKYN-CHROME-MIRROR-STUD-HELMET-HOLDER-W-LOCK-4207/372594220554?epid=7014957746&hash=item56c0589e0a:g JAAAOSwndBcXaXu), though I know you said you didn't necessarily want something that the lock detaches, but you can leave the lock on it. Also, if you only have 1 mirror (not sure why anyone would do that), you can use this instead of the other bolt.

I'm leaning towards the Lidlox Helmet Lock for Harley.
