Default 2014 Windshield replacement. What would be best for.....

Good morning, I purchased a 2014 CVO limited. Love the bike, Great ride overall. For me the wind hits me right at the top of my head which is good. However the wind stream blows right over my head and right into my wife's face. She claims it is hard to breath most of the time in these colder temps. Ears ringing from all the wind noise and so on. Personally I would lower the windshield just a bit but I need for her to be comfortable on the back. What windshields have you guys put on your bikes that help your ol ladies with the wind? She is 5'4"

Try Long Ride Shields; the flip at the top throws the wind higher for the passenger

I've used Freedom shields on my last 2 bikes. I'm pretty sure I've had 10, 12, and 14" models. I am taller than my wife so that helps, but she does claim it whips the wind around until it hits her in the back of the head.

Ordered the Long Ride Shields Flat top elite 11" to try out, still open to suggestions. May just buy a few to see how they work out. they are cheap enough! Im sure someone local will buy the ones I did not like.

My wife has bronchial issues and riding pillion on my Limited makes it tough for her to breathe. The stock windshield was just ok, she would say she had to adjust her breathing. I tried a 7" windsplitter, it made it worse. I ended up with a Klockworx 8-1/2" curved shield. She like that the best and it looks better than the stocker.

Go to your local HD dealer. Bring the bride (and the bike). They have demo wind shields you can try out and find out which height works best for you and her.

My local dealership doesn't have much in the way of windshields. Plenty of seats, but not many windshields.

Long Ride Shields Flat to elite 11" was not a good choice on the 14+. Wind stream still went over me and into her face. Though it is much less diverting the air around the body as well, Its still causing her ringing in the ears. She still does not want to ride. Just received msg back from freedom shields. Suggested the touring 14". I just placed order and it will take a few weeks to process before shipped. Ill let ya know when I get the windshield installed and go for a good ride with her. I hope this works, pisses me off to hear "cant we just take the truck?" to a damn bike event or chapter meeting.

For me the windshield was great. Even in moderate downpour, only my knees and top of helmet got wet. Started riding to work in the rain rather than taking the truck if raining in the morning. Hate walking around with wet underwear at work. Due to storm on the way home...no problem bike it is.
