Default The 2023 Road King FLHR Lives On As The FLHP

I recently discovered that a "standard" Road King is still available for anyone to order as a police model. FLHP Spec Sheet
Pricing on the 2023 FLHP is about $2000 cheaper than a 2022 FLHR if it was equipped with the options I list below.
I think it's the best deal going from H-D, so I bought one. You get a 114 engine with suspension, wheels, and tires sized for performance and comfort.
I really like the suspended solo seat which now has coil-over-shock suspension, not that old lame undamped airbag.

Here's a couple pics of the bike as it is after the first service at the dealership. I'm heading out on a 3500 mile test ride Sunday. I really like this FLHP.

I bought an off lease 2019 FLHTP in 2021. I put on a Harley trunk, passenger floorboards and a mustang police pillion seat.

The stated price (without freight, prep, add-ons, or fees) for the 2023 FLHP was $20,676. There was no surcharge.

The FLHP is almost exactly what I was looking for in a new Harley. I added just a few items from H-D:
1. Heated Grips p/n 56100034
2. Electrical connection kit p/n 69201599A
3. Fork Wind Deflectors p/n 57400146A
4. Two-Pocket windshield pouch p/n 57203-07
5. Brake/Run/Turn Kit p/n 68000123A
6. Guard Bag with Bottle Holder (Left) p/n 93300061
7. Guard Bag with Bottle Holder (Right) p/n 93300060

The police bikes compare to the "standard". But they have more chrome stock than the standards do. Part of why I chose a police model over an ElectraGlide standard.

I like the police seat and the heated grips.

Attached is an FLHP purchasing spec sheet from 2020 that I believe is still accurate for 2023.
Here's some pics of the chrome on a 2023 FLHP I found on a dealer site:

Part of my decision for a new bike was to get all of the new rider assist safety enhancements and more powerful brakes.
Attached is the official document on these features from H-D.

How complicated is it to change out blue/red spot lights and do they run like normal spots? Does it come with a tach?

Kinda odd that the big gauge is the tach. I expect the dealer to put in the standard clear white auxillary (spot) lamp bulbs.
