Default Picked Up a New to Me Tri-Glide Ultra Today

Picked up a 2021 tri-glide today with about 3,300 KMs on it and the price was decent (for Canada). The machine drives way better than expected and the power is adequate even though it is a bone stock 114 unit. Not to sell my 2010 Ultra Classic decker and sad to say sell by Triumph Speedmaster. Going to keep the Vstrom.

Congrats on the new ride. But, as they say, without pictures it didn't happen. Enjoy and be safe.

Welcome to three! They are a little different ride but the same in many aspects. Enjoy!

Congratulations on your new trike. In time, it will likely be the only "bike" you choose to ride!

You're gonna love it. I had to get a Triglide or stop riding. It cost me a 23 R9T with 300 miles and a 22 RGS with 800 miles. The pain from that loss was insane BUT im in the wind and no regrets.... Only major recommendation would be change the rear suspension and add a lift kit. I bought mine last September after developing major spine issues and 3 months past surgery, its a god-send...

Enjoy and ride safe

Here are some pictures of the machine. I rode a little in a strong cross wind with gusts and found that this thing handles like it is on rails. Quite pleased about that.

Some advice regarding warranty purchase. It's a 2021 with about 3,300 odd kilometres on it.
I can get a 3yr unlimited kilometre warranty but it will cost me about $4,800 CAD. Somehow I don't think it is worth it. I had purchased a warranty on my 2010 ultra classic when I bought it but of course the engine cratered 2 yrs after the warranty expired. What do you think? The amount of $ might be a third of what an indy shop would charge for a major rebuild.

Sorry to hear of the back issues. That is painful business. I was having trouble in 2011 and the doc did the xrays and then asked when I broke my back. He said I had a calcified C6 and fractured vertebrae between my shoulder blades. I said I didn't know because you got hurt so many times but just kept on going through any pains. Stress had reactivated the old injuries, changed my job and it all went away. Mining can be a bit hard on the body.

So far I don't mind how the machine rides. Might be different when my wife is able to ride with me. At the moment she can't because she had both knees replaced about 2 plus months ago. I thought I might first try the rear lift and then move to better shocks if necessary.
