Yeah, I would've thought the fork tubes(sliders) from a
49mm dyna app might be easier to adapt an appropriate fender.

I’m using a 48 fender, but I won’t get it from HD. The wait time is 30+ days, so I’ll get one off eBay and have it painted to match my 1200 Custom paint/pin stripe. I have a 48 rear fender at the painter now, matching the oem rear fenders stripes.

I converted gasoline into hot gasses and speed with both of these beauties today, and even dropped in on shag67 for a minute.

Finally painted the quarter fairing matte black from glossy, its dirty in the photos, but looks much better this way.

Swapped out my gas tank for one without a dent and a bit of color. Rainy dreary day so a better pic will have to wait

pulled it out of the garage, tested the battery (been being wierd lately), and when in to change to go for a ride... came back out and saw rain... pushed it back in the garage.

My son and I hooked up and rode this afternoon. We also talked about our possible upcoming trip to The Dragon early this summer.
