piece fell out of my left control housing ( help)

Default piece fell out of my left control housing ( help)

Hey all .. completed my apes a few days ago .. and while doing the left side housing .. a small plastic ( almost half circle piece fell out .. )

Can someone please ( if you know ) tell me where it came from so i can return it to its home

Pic would help, but it might be the piece behind the clutch lever switch.

don't know what bike or what yr you have..

Sounds like the nylon bushing that goes in the hole of the clutch lever.

def not teh bushing ... ive got that in and its white and my clutch is fine ..

looked a the parts diagram .. and its not there

ill try to get a pic up in a few hours when i get off

its small and black looks like it should fit flush against maybe the housing and some internal part ..

kalbo .. i think you might be right .. .my bike wont start with the clutch pulled .. ive got the switch in there right .. but seems like the switch has nothing to push against

That part looks like the friction spring that sits on top of the throttle lock in the RIGHT housing. It is part 12 in the schematic below.

That piece comes from the throttle side for your throttle lock. It's holds the throttle if you screw in the adjuster all the way. Has nothing to do with the left side housing at all.

Wondering If you were standing in front of the bike looking rearward and called the Throttle side your left side while working on the bars..
