Default New to Softail....New to me Crossbones

Well, something has happened that i didnt think would happen. I have officially joined the softail ranks.... After being on Sportsters, Dynas, and a Road Glide, i have now joined completed the cycle with a Softail.

Picked up a 09 Crossbones with 11,000 miles yesterday. Couldnt pass up the deal so i didnt.

Now lets see if all you Dyna haters have a point about your softails.... Still love the Dynas and miss my Road Glide! But love the Crossbones so far

Haven't met any Dyna haters here. In fact I haven't met any haters here at all. Most dudes here just love cruising and customizing their rides. No need to hate when you are happy with the way you roll. Congrats on your ride and welcome to the chillaxed softail forum. Springers ROCK

Thumbs up cruzin

Well I've had a bunch of bikes including a Dyna and Road Glide and I'm having more fun on my Crossbones. Won't be canyon carving or packing all the goodies I used to on a trip with the Road Glide but my wife doesn't ride much anymore and I can pack what I need. I'm mesmerized by the spring action on the springer and I swear it rides better than any bike I've owned on moderate lumpy roads. The real ruff stuff not so much. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
