Default Introductions are in order

Hello
I am new to Softails, but not new to Harley. I have been spending all of my time over in the Dyna section since I joined HDF.

Back on July 11 I was on a trip through Montana and came around a blind corner and there was Bambi. Swerved to miss the critter and hit the gravel and ditch. I then spent 5 fun-filled days in 2 different Montana hospitals with broken ribs, internal injuries, torn muscles and black and blue from head to toe.
Now, I have since healed up, but my Street Bob (Rest In Peace) did not make it. It took the insurance company 3 months to decide its fate.

Now that everything has been settled, I fell in love with a 2014 Fat Boy Lo.
I signed the papers on October 1st and am looking forward to making it mine.

Bob was an 07 FXDB Street Bob and I have attached pics of Blu. I have seen some gorgeous bikes over here, hope mine will fit in as time passes.

Congrats. You will enjoy the laid back feel of the softail. Your Dyna may have been sportier handling but the smile will be bigger on the Fatboy. Led the mods begin.

Thanks guys! Feels good to be riding again!

So far I love the smooth ride, I do miss the rumble of my Bob, but that will come soon.

The mods have already begun. Ultra thin LED tail light with integrated signals has been ordered. HogRida laydown plate holder installed. Removable classic windshield installed. Removable backrest/rack and touring pilon ready to be installed. (to be installed and removed for the lady to be comfy when she wants to hop on the back)
I think the money pit is starting all over again. Stage 1 to start when snow flies.
