IMO the bike is already down, since I wouldn't ride it with a broken riser.

If it is that badly needed put the stock ones (or whatever was on it) back on and send the broken ones back to JP.

I got a slightly longer socket bolt and there were enough threads left to grab. The risers were $50, it will prob cost me $20 to ship them back. Just don't know if it's worth it. Maybe I'll eat it and get the HD ones. Prob no better though..everything is made in China these days! Here's a pic of the piece that broke off...

I buy most of the things I need through Amazon. If something isn't right they will send a replacement and trust u to send the defective one back. If it doesn't arrive within the specified period they hit your cc for it. I don't like the idea of taking the parts off and being at the mercy of J&P (or anyone's) shipping dept.
