Twin cam mid controls
I was thinking about doing mid controls on my 03 deuce.. Is there a direct bolt on? Do I have to do some modifications if I want to put mid controls? 03 deuce fxstd here

I am doing this mod next winter. Here is what I've found so far.
Excile sells a kit that will allow you to mount mids on a twin cam frame.
They will also provide you with a new set up for your rear brake since the stock setup won't work anymore.
You'll have to get yourself some HD dyna mid mount brakcets.
On the opposite side of the sled you'll have to replace your inner and outer primary covers to the dyna covers. They have the opening in them which allows the shifter to come through them for the mid mounts.
You should be able to mount a new kickstand on the Dyna mid mount brakcets. If not there are two holes on the frame towards the back on the left side where I'm gonna mount an Arlen ness kick stand.
I just purchased a set of HD Dyna mid mounts in preparation for this. I don't see anywhere on there where I can mount a kickstand but I'm not worried about that.
I'm gonna try and hold off to do this till next winter cause I just spent a lot of dough this winter on new wheels, front end, bars and other stuff.
Hoping someone will do this before me so i can get first hand reports about it.
