All this talk of clearing the bare metal is a no go for your bike, i mean it does look good for some bikes but when i look at your's i see a very old style with a new age twist. Flat colors with a race theme is going to be *****! Holy s**t that wheel set up is crazy sick man. As many have said, you have the eye for what your doing fo sho! Love this thread

Ink, have you considered photoshop?
Might save you time and money in the end. And might help add an extra element of fun towards reaching your final goal.

Hey,
What an awesome build! I'm starting a similar build soon just waiting on my swingarm, do you have any pics of how you mounted the fender to the swingarm? I'm after ideas, I've got a few but theirs always a better way.

Good luck with the rest of your build, you'll love the gripace!

No worries Alain!

Irle you've got a good point, doing the flat race paint is still on the cards. In fact I'll be painting it with a good friend next fortnight when we paint his Dyna we are doing a tank swap on.

Splatt I'm no good with photoshop, it would definitely be handy, but I'm not the best with computers. I can't even work out how to put a photo in the signature on my posts lol

Ashley I haven't mounted the fender yet. I welded up the new tabs on the swing arm but changed my mind where I wanted to mount them. Hoping to get it all welded and mounted up tomorrow. I'll post some pics for you if I di

Thanks everyone for the positive comments!

Got my heads and throttle body back. Nicely ported and port matched. Throttle body has been taken out to 50mm. Heads have had over size valves fitted, and the deck shaved to bump it to 11:1 compression, along with manual comp release tapped in. With some bigger injectors and some good time on the dyno, along with all the weight reduction, I'm pretty excited to give this new setup a blast.

I started making a panel up for the indicator lights and and ignition switch to go between the tank and seat, along with the front indicator brackets.

Ran out of gas to weld up the swing arm fender and brake brackets. So I'll get some more tomorrow and get that finished.

So I am getting **** done,

Ashley its a brake sproket setup from Exile

A bit of modding done to the tank shift to make it fit, but fits nicely now. Digging the pipes too

It's coming along, and looking nasty. That pipe is sick, the brake/sproket setup is super fly, tank shift is righteous, but most of all that hubless see through front wheel is trick, you can't even tell there's a braking system on it.... Lol
