Gary,

I am absolutely stunned by your breakout. I have one myself and have done a bit of work on it. Do you mind me asking where you got youe axel peg covers from? both front and rear. I have the edge cut drips and mirrors I think the axel peg covers would match well. thank you so very much in advance.

Best,
Abe

I changed mine out when I changed the rocker covers and cams. If you are only changing the pushrod covers I think the easiest way to do this would be to cut the pushrods and replace with adjustable pushrods. The pushrods have to come out to remove the covers. The only other way to do it is to remove the upper rocker cover and rocker arms (keep in mind that you will have to remove the tank to do this). Not a hard job if you have the tools and a manual. Nothing should get out of adjustment as long as you torque everything to specs.

The axel covers are from Top Down products (www.topdownproducts.com).

Absolutely gorgeous bike. Great job with the entire build.
i am in the process of doing little things here and there to my black breakout. Quick question, when you powder coated the back struts and turn signals, was it difficult to do the turn signals? They dont feel like metal like the struts. They feel more like plastic. et me know the process you went through with them. Thanks
