I purchased a Lindby Magnumbar 1710 for my 2011 Deluxe and when we went to install it tonight all the bolt holes line up but it hits the right side floorboard. The floorboards are the stock floorboards and the only thing it says on the Lindby website is that they will not work with half moon floorboards that I do not have. Has anyone else ran into this? If so, how did you fix it?

 

My 14 Slim has the same issue and is bone stock. Both sides make contact with the floorboards and the powder coat is mediocre at best but in all it looks good.

 

My wife's 2014 Fat Boy Lo has the stock half moon boards, but we liked the bar so much we decided to try it. It did just barely contact one of her boards, so we just wrapped a rope and gave it a few tugs. Have about 1/4" clearance on both sides now. We were considering oblonging the mounting holes to add more space, but it works for now.

 

Update: after going back and forth with the dealer I got my Lindby bar through and Lindby I found out they redesigned the brackets on the magnumbar after finding out about this problem with the Deluxe models. I of course returned the one I had and ordered one direct from Lindby to make sure I got the updated version. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the new one works when it comes
