Default Unusual Idea: someone must have come up with

2014 Deluxe: Trying to come up with ideas for the rear fender. Already dropped the tag below the tombstone and going with a custom solo seat.
What I have in mind is a luggage rack for the fender but now I'm having a change of heart, I'm thinking a pillion but do not like what I've seen. This is going to be a custom thing, I want something similar to a bib that has maybe 1" - 1 1/2" padding. Low profile as it gets, figure you ridin back there it's not for very far.
Any ideas? I know, contact the custom seat guys. I wonder how much space between the luggage rack and fender and thinkin just put some cushion in the bib...heheh

Cool

dang it, man...newer Deluxe models have an additional 2 holes in the rear fender. Seems HD has a luggage rack that bolts to the fender up under the pillion.

lmbo...pull the fender and fill the holes, quick plugs for the holes and p-pad it, or quick plugs for the holes and bib it. One lil thing after another.

Thnx, QC, found another too...

I used small button head SS bolts with plastic washers to cover the 2 holes. At one point I had plastic bolts in the 2 holes, but the heads were way bigger than the SS bolts. Be careful about which pad you use as I think the stock pad uses the rack for support, at least the larger deluxe pad seems to.

I you think about luggage racks again, check Aliexpress.com I know it's made in China, but those prices can't be beat. Just sayin'...
