Default Softail Slim saddlebags

Hi folks - I'm after some nice retro leather saddlebags for my Slim

I don't want anything too 'boxy' or wide, but they need to be large enough to take a 15" laptop/bag

I kinda want them to 'hang loose' and not to just look like leather covered boxes

Not keen on the HD ones listed for the Slim as from the back they look really wide - almost triangular boxes.

The only option I've found so far are the Hensen Styling (Buffalo Bags) ones:

Any advice, thoughts, experience, alternatives?

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately they're sorta what I don't want.

To me they look really fat/bulky from the back... I'm hoping for something narrower and maybe less 'boxy' in shape/rigidity

Default Speedking Saddlbags

I have a brand new Set of Harley SpeedKing saddlebags. Black with red trim. Never used.

Brand new in the box, I was planning on listing these soon. These should fit your laptop and are narrow compared with almost all the bags I have seen.

19"X14"X5". My 15" laptop fits.

I get a large discount on Fed Ex if you are interested. Let me know if you need more photos. Asking $499.00

So... I bought a Buffalo Bag 'Vegas' to check it out... and it's great!

It looks good...

not too 'boxy'...

And my laptop fits!

Closed, with laptop inside.

I've ordered a second bag and I have designed a bracket - just got to get a local fabricator to make it for me and powder coat it...

I have bags from this manufacture in California. They are top quality.
The guy in the Vid designed his own bags for the slim and I think they are still available from Leather Works bags.

Done!

Brackets made up, painted, fitted and bags on!

I'm really pleased with the results...

Now to tidy up the bolt ends - caps or something (I should have had the nuts welded to the brackets).
