I pick it up Tuesday. The above is me on the one 'right beside' the
one I bought. They made me a killer deal on a Ducati N.A. Executive's
personal bike, I'm cheap so I took the deal... It already has the
optional Termignoni exhaust on it as well as the 'sport shield' and
passengers backrest (cant believe that call it that, not much to it).
There's a sample of the exhaust.

Funny I traded my 2015 Diavel Carbon in for my 2017 Fatboy S. Before the Diavel I had a 2014 Street Glide Special.

Those Ducatis absolutely screw. I felt like the Fatboy was a better all around bike for me, but I'd love to pick up another Duc eventually. I might try to grab a used Monster 1200 in a year or two for days when I just need speed and lean.

The Termi exhaust is awesome. Sounds so mean. I was going to put it on mine before I decided to get rid of the bike. Enjoy it man, but be careful, that thing absolutely ****ing flies!

Not sure if the XDiavel has the same specs, but my Carbon had 162HP on a 400and something lb bike....that's just nuts.

Not quite the same, stock is ~156hp at 9500 & max torque at 5K, so maybe close to the above with the exhaust.

Tank bib ordered...

Seat felt much better than stock, even if it moved me a bit forward.

Ordered a brown leather tank and fender bib from Chris @ Three Mutts Customs

Front matching tool bag arrives today. I think that I am finally done with the bike... only need to play around with the size of the back tire to eliminate the spacers in there. Or, if I keep that tire, make decent spacers that slide into the channel of the bracket. Right now I am using some thick washers...

Got the tool bag from Fox Creek Leather... not a match...

To this (I simply stuffed the HD tool bag inside the new bag):

I will change the tie-wraps for black ones as soon as I find the @#$%@#$ bag of new black tie-wraps that I got over a month ago)

But you know what? F-it! will use it anyway... and I will also have a non-matching tank and fender bib in brown leather from Chris @ Three Mutts Customs . Chris did give me the option to go with the same material used in the Mustang seat as he has that. But he could not make any engraving on those like I wanted... so I went with real leather... Something along the lines of this (mine should be here in a few weeks):

Age will give it all character

So what do you put in the black 'tool box' on the side ? Is the tool bag
too big to fit inside of it ? With that windshield on, you're not gonna
be using that front bag for anything 'quick access' I guess...

thanks,

T.

I don't have the windshield on all the time... I do put it on when I park the bike. But yeah, with the shield on nothing has quick access...

As far as what they have inside. Both front tool bag and side metal tool bag are full of tools.

Front tool bag has the toll epass, registration, a cruz toolkit, tire plug kit, tape, extra fuses including two of the large 40 amp, 10' of black, red, white cable
Side metal tool box has allen wrenches, leatherman with some additional tool bits for it, tie-wraps

Swingarm bag I have my rain coat, a cap, a t-shirt, adapter for charging phone and 12 volt adapter (connect to battery charger plug), small air compressor, bungee cords, spare set of gloves, spare sun glasses, water bottle (I have the Thermos full of ice and just fill it with water along the trip... ice in that thing, even being next to the engine, last the whole day).

I need to do inventory again to make sure everything is working fine. For example, the previos air compressor I had, the bag I had it in was not sealed correctly and water got to it and ruined it. When I traded the RK CVO for this one I just stuffed everything I could in the available space... no real order to the process. I really need to go back and keep the tools that are really needed and remove the rest. Most likely, because not everything was in a waterproof bag, some stuff will need to be replaced...

.

Chris shipped these today!

Installed!! Photos do not do justice to these bibs. I went with real leather instead of the matching vinyl of the seat.

I had to get a rear fender nut kit to install the bib... the hole there only had a plastic cap...

Just throwing this out there... What do you think about switching
out the ignition switch for a black one ? I'm considering this as well...
This is what it looks like on the OL's Iron...

thanks!

Wait! That comes in black!?? Yeah! Time to search for part numbers. Thank you!

I plan to black out the bolts on the bibs as well...
