Default Rider Floorboard kit for 2003 FXSTS

Can anyone point me in the direction for a full rider floorboard kit, Part Number or Pull off parts...?
I have forward controls but I'd like to switch completely over to a full floorboard setup.

What year of Softail Footboards /Floorboards are interchangeable? 2000-2006?
Are all Softails of the same year range interchangeable?
Local Chrome Parts Specialist @ the Stealership wasn't much help.
Thanks.

you might find someone wanting to trade. I'd check eBay since all the stuff new would be a LOT. I heard like 2 grand with all new parts. any 2000 up (there may be a change at some point but not sure when) softail controls will work. you may have to change rear master cyl, brake pedal, brake line an shift lever....

I was trying to copy paste the link to Ronnies HD parts finder with the footboard diagram an prices on it but it won't work.

Thanks for the reply. I thought the same thing about Ronnies and said Lord have Mercy, there has got to be a kit.

here's a big chunk of the stuff at what looks like a good price. you would have to verify they fit your year.

They'll work fine, backwards compatible to at least 2000. So, 2016 back to 2000, should be able to use your current jiffy stand.

Your only minor issue might be cutting out the top of the square to fit your master cylinder without removing the brake line. Five minutes (hacksaw or grinder) then gloss black touch up paint.

I've seen them cheaper though, if you want to hang out.
As another poster mentioned, there's likely someone out there willing to swap. Factory forwards in decent condition aren't that easy to find these days either!

Thank you for the advice guys. I appreciate it.
It seems the parts guy at the local dealership aren't the same caliber as they used to be.
I've been searching eBay and I'll see those take off parts from wrecked bikes. I just wonder if I might find out they are bent or deformed once I get them on my bike.

The parts in this link will not work for you!! 2000-2006 only. You only need the brackets, floorboards, and the brake pedal, everything else on your bike will work for your conversion. Your master cyl, shift rod, shift lever, and kick stand will all work with the new floorboards. Don't be lazy and cut your bracket, you need to remove the mounting nut anyway, so remove your brake line and bleed the system when you're done.

I have done this exact thing to my 2006 FXSTS. I know what I'm talking about. I may still have the part numbers you need here somewhere, give me a bit to look...

That screw, washer, and O-ring (2 of them) you can take off of your old set up. 42597-00A should come with the 57217-02 bushings installed.

DC Mike,
The link to the parts for sale on ebay will work for any 2000 on model Softail. The frame mounts are the same.
The footboards and forward controls for these models are backwards compatible. The footboards as far back as the '80s and up to current including the touring models will work if you would like an option of shapes and styles.
Of course, you use your existing sidestand.
Pre 99 have a different left side bracket and side stand.

I own a 2016 Softail Slim S. Currently fitted (by me) with forward controls from a mixture of 2000 model Softail Standard and earlier/later.
No modification other than cutting the top loop of the MC bracket, to avoid bleeding an ABS line, which requires the use of a factory tool to perform correctly, not lazy.
To be properly bled the brakes must be actuated by the Harley Digital Tech or similar tool. Very expensive and not usually in the home workshop.
Of course, you have no need of anything special to bleed your front brake.

Marc, the part number you provided in a reply for the footboard
17 - 50621-79A FOOTBOARD, INCLUDES PAD $84.99
is a standard rectangular type model with chrome base.

If the black half round or moon shape boards are your desire, you need
2 of 51402-08A FOOTBOARD BOTTOM (gloss black) $53.23
and
2 of 51403-08 PAD footboard $29.80
These are retail prices, better online prices from other dealers.

IF you prefer to use a heel toe shifter you will need the longer shift rod to accomodate the two shifters. The heel toe shift levers are also a different profile to the softail forward control toe shift lever.

If I've missed something happy to stand corrected.
