What kind of riding do you like to do most of the time? Who offered it to you?

Im pretty allround in my riding. Both in town and cruising on the highway. More often than not 2-up. I wanted as much power as possible without compromising with reliability.

It is a local shop here in Sweden tja has offered it.

Seems like a decent set-up to me. An AIM variable pressure clutch would be a good addition.

Reliability is based on 3 things: Riding style, compression ratio and who builds it (not in that order).

Find an S&S Cycle trained mechanic that has a history of building 124" engines using the stock cases.

Well, riding style i can understand.
Who builds it should not matter to much in this case since all of it are of the shelf S&S products. The question is if this is a good combination of parts that will give the optimal result. Of course, when it comes to tuning it will depend on the tuners skills.
...and regarding compression, will this be within the reliable limit then?

Who builds it matters. I found out the hard way when I had a motor blow with less than 3,000 km because parts were not washed properly, improper torque values and o-rings / gaskets not lined up.

Higher the compression, the more stress on the valves, springs and other moving parts.

I have no problems with my S&S Cycle 124" (Hot Setup Kit) engine and I've bounce off the rev-limiter often.

Why drop that kind of coin? What is it you're looking for? I'd keep what you have and drop a torque cam in there, you will never be able to hang out with crotch rockets. Andrews 48 gear drive, performance oil pump. Have more to spend after that, have the top end done.
My two cents.

I did a cam only upgrade with a great pipe and a great tune. It's enough to hot rod around, run up to 125 mph, run right with my buddy's built 95 incher, although his sounds better. If you have the chance to do it all at once I would. I could not afford to ....buy my bikes no pooch and it's fun.

Yes, I will probarbly skip the 79cc top and the TB. Instead have the top done and go with 585 cam. And yes, 70/30 genar drive.

Just looking for som more fun power without sacrifycing reliability and driveability.
