Default Been sitting for awhile, what to do?

Hey guys, been awhile since I've been on here. I have a 13 FXS that has been sitting my garage for about a year now(long story short, life got in the way of me riding for a year and had to let my reg lapse, and had other priorities to take care of first).

It has been on a battery charger the whole time, and I drained the fuel back in April and put fresh gas in it and ran it in the driveway for about 30 minutes to let it circulate, but other than that it has just been sitting. Tires area a little low, and I'm planning on getting new tires soon anyways, bike has about 7k miles on it(FXS is kinda known for cracking in the sidewall on the front tire as well)

I'm planning on doing a complete fluid change(Engine, Trans, and Primary), I had just done a fluid change on all 3 with Amsoil 20w-50 about a month before it went into the garage. Was planning on doing the same(2 different dealers told me they use Syn3 in all 3 holes on most bikes, unless owner requests something different).

Is there anything else I need to check/do as I'm getting it ready to ride again?

Thanks guys!

Considering you did a fluid change right before storage I'd probably dump half a can seafoam in with the fuel and ride that tank out. Next fluid change I'd go so far as brake fluid too, clean the ac filter, check plugs, etc..

I wouldn't put Syn3 in all three holes. They did that to my bike and I really sient like it. The engineers figured out they could get by with it, but it's not the best choice. The Amsoil is a good choice for the engine. After trying a few different things, including Syn3 in the primary I've found that the regular Harley primary oil gives me the smoothest shift. On the tranny I run redline, but that's one you need to decide for yourself. A guy I ride with uses Amsoil and s wears by it. I may try it in the future..
