Default Vance & Hines Quiet Baffle

My '07 Fat Boy has Vance & Hines Big Shots Staggered pipes. I want to replace the baffles with Vance & Hines Quiet Baffles (part #21301). Will the change in back pressure require a retune?

I swapped mine and didn't make much difference in the volume, a bit of a deeper sound. I didn't retune and seems fine, the stealer said not required.

You do not need a retune. BUT, don't expect your bike to be quiet. It may be a bit quieter, but far from quiet. I'm speaking from experience here.

This is what I've read in online reviews for V&H Quiet Baffles--deeper tone but not less noise. Are there any other baffles on the market for V&H Big Shot Staggered pipes?

I can't say with any certainty as I have not researched it. I have the Fat Shots on my Slim and put the quiet baffles in them. Better tone but not much quieter. I do like the way they sound though and have no plans on changing them.

Update... I installed V&H Quiet Baffles in my Big Shots. As others said, they're not much quieter, but I do like the deep tone.

Props to V&H for making baffles that are easy to remove. I expected a struggle, but the old baffles slid right out.
