Default Picking up new Train

Hey guys,I just purchased a new night train and im pinking it up this afternoon. Is there anything I should be aware of with it ?This is my 4th harley and i feel like a kid at christmas.I had them install the vance&Hines bigshot staggards on them. The dealer said no fuel management was necessary with the 07 because im not upgrading my air cleaner.I called other dealers yesterday to see and they all said the same thing.I thought anytime you change the pipes you had to add fuel mgmt to it.They said they dyno hundreds of 07's and it is not neccessay. Is this true?Thanks,big..

Congrats on the new bike man!!

When I had new V&H pipes installed on my 2003 Train, the dealership had all sorts of problems just getting the bike to run. It backfired and poped on deceleration and burnt up a set of pipes until Iinstalled a PCIII. Now I couldn't get a backfire or a pop out of it if I tried!

Run it like the dealer suggested and see what happends.

Good luck!

The 07's have the ability to slightly adjust the fuel mixture due to the closed loop sensors.
Anything earlier like Spyders or mine, adjustments need to be made.

Congrats on the new Train. First off rotate the handlebars toward you for better riding position and less wrist and arm fatigue. I stole this from a post by, I think XTRAIN, it allows better view in mirrors and the before mentioned. Easy to do and no cost, makes a huge difference!!!

Congrats! I rode mine with pipes only and no tune during the break-in with zero problems. If this is your 4th Harley I guess you already know about the checkbook bitchslap lol.
