Hi all,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2017 Fatboy S. Just waiting for the credit union to call me back with my rate and I'll be signing this week!

Anyway, I've searched but the info is jumbled. I want to put a JW Speaker headlight on it. Do I need a wire harness or can I just get the evolution J model? Also do I need some kind of ring kit, or will it fit right out of the box?

The model you want is the 8700 Evolution 2. I believe the "J" is only for Jeeps but could be wrong on that.

 

sweet thanks man. I saw something somewhere about needed some ring bezel kit and maybe an anti flicker harness or something.

As long as your bike is CANBUS you shouldn't need an anti flicker harness. I think it was mentioned earlier, about the Evo 2-j series...those include the anti flicker circuit as part of the light unit...that is really the only difference, minus the DRL half crescent​. Personally, I don't think the J series looks right on a bike, but that's my opinion.
