Snap ring pliers
Cant seem to find one with tips small enough to take off the clip for the passenger pegs. Anyone know what size they might be, or where to get one small enough? Lowe's and AutoZone were NG
Harbor freight sells a whole boxed set of them.
Honestly though, just buy some replacement snap rings and rip those off. A lot cheaper and faster than fighting those little bastages with pliers and chasing them across the garage.

I got a good set at Sears with diff size tips for like $15 an threw the Harbor freight ones away...some of the snap rings are so thin removing them with the pliers distorts an weakens them so they're useless anyway.
Second Sears. Don't buy the $9, buy the $14 pair. Not only are they solidly built, but with a flick convert from internal to external snaps AND come with a couple different sets of pins.
I bought a pair to remove my passenger pegs as well.

After messing up one pair of snap rings, and trying the Harbor Freight package (no good for me, either), I decided when I did my next swap to forget snap rings. I bought these instead, and they worked great.

(Assuming you're talking about for pegs, anyway.)

Might get lucky with Sears. With their money woes It's getting harder to find stuff on the shelves. Mine isn't restocking.
Tea I bought them a few years ago...they started making their tools overseas then sold the craftsman tool line....I have a bunch of their stuff but quit buying when they moved production.
from what I read they sold the craftsman line for a good reason: to fund future retiree pensions instead of sticking it to them like some companies do but now I just buy either kobalt or harbor freight stuff if I need anything. I don't do enough repairs to justify Snap on or Matco prices.
