A friend of mine wants to do a springer front end on his Fatboy. This is not a traditional looking Fatboy as it has been modified to look like a bobber.
Does anyone know what length would be ordered? Will be using a 16" front wheel.
Todays factory springers (1997 and up) are 22" which is 2" longer than early Knucklehead springers.
So if you want standard old style buy a 20" if you are going for the Heritage springer look get the 22"
The new fenders move with the axle so you would need the extra 2" if you are planning to run a 97 or newer style fender

AZSteve, that's what I was thinking 22 - 23 inch from my measurements. Not running a front fender and this is going on a 2005. I appreciate your input. Ride safe.
