Looks very nice, the 23 in the front will help keep those floor boards from sparking up.

Definitely following this! Looking to put a 23" mammoth on my '14 slim next year. Is the stock front rotor gonna work. I read somewhere that there r clearance issues with the wheel n caliper n the guy installing it needed to put on a bigger rotor.

Yep you are correct. I forgot to add in the parts list that there's an Arlen Ness Big rotor kit sitting in the pile of parts I have. A few have mentioned getting the stock caliper shaved but I don't know if I would trust that being its my wife that's the rider. Sure wouldn't want to hear "remember that time you shaved my front caliper down & it failed!"
Plus with the 23" a bigger brake sure isn't going to hurt. For a couple hundred bucks it's a money well spent mod!

Well got it back up on the table today & had a little time to set the fenders on there to start messing around with placement. Wifey's Slim gets a winter make over-image1.jpg

Maybe someone earlier in the post chided me about a stretched fender. Well this is the one I did on my slim all metal as it should be. Nothing outrageous or obnoxious, just nice beautiful lines that accentt the bike perfectly.

So I have a question about ur rear wheel/tire combo. Going from a 16" wheel to an 18" wheel, did u size the tire so finished set up has the same height as the factory set up? Not including the legend shock.

Not sure if I'm making sense but basically, like I said before, I looking to do the same wheels down the road and I've already lowered the rear 1.5" and I dnt want to change that. So I would need a tire with less side wall so the 18" wheel n tire is the same diameter as the stock wheel n tire.

I have 18” wheels front and back on my Fatboy. Installing a 21” on front now. The 18” tire will have a lower side profile so the overall height of tire is not much different. My rear tire is a 240/35x18.
