I just pulled the trigger after riding this and the Fatboy back to back. I liked my body position better on the Fatboy but love the looks and my dealer threw in a thousand dollars in free parts so I ordered cruise control, 8” risers and 4” drag bar oh and a cover.
That's awesome! Congratulations! Be sure to post pics with the risers and drag bar. Would love to see that setup.

In my collection of helmets from sportbike days I have this great Scott Russell Shoei. Can't wait to pick my 114 up and wear it again, never thought HD would make a bike like this since Buell collapse
, I came to Harley's from owning several Buells. Have always had a sportbike to scratch that itch in addition to HD.
Now I'm looking at the Heritage!! ARGH!! Winter is killing me! I want to get out and ride and quit looking at bikes!
I rode several of the new softails. In my opinion, the best two riding bikes from a performance perspective are the fat bob and the Heritage. I loved the edgy looks of bob vs the more traditional look of the Heritage. And bob handled slightly better. But the Heritage is more comfortable. So that’s what I bought.
If memory serves, both bob and the Heritage have a longer travel rear suspension. If you plan on long days riding over less than perfect roads, that’s another positive.
So consider this logically, review the pluses and minuses and buy the one that will make you go out into your garage the most just to look at it and go for a ride.
i still like the look of my 2010 fatboy lo looks like a harley sounds like a harley rides rough like a harley should ride not smooth like the new softtails
Yep you sure don’t want a smooth ride with plenty of power. To hell with that crap!
