That was easy!
I finally got around to asking my dealer about changing out my injectors from the 8 degree to the 25's. Here is how the conversation went:
Me: My bike runs like $hit when it's cold. I did some research and found a service bulletin. Can we change out the injectors under the bulletin?
Him: Let's have a look at your bike. (as we are walking out) Is your bike still under warranty?
Me: Yes.
Him: Look's like you got the 8's. I'll order the 25's and give you a call.
After reading about some of the problems you guys had getting the dealer to do the change, I didn't expect it to go that easy!

First dealer I contacted gave me a ration of grief about changing the injectors.
Second dealer I contacted the conversation went much like yours. When the injectors came in they did the swap while I waited.

I heard it did not have to still be in warrenty, but I could be wrong, but heard if you had a 06 with the 8 injectors and was not running well it was there dime to change the CHITTY ones they put in to begin with!! And not be D.... about doing the job because they had all kinds of service bulletins and recall on this crude! I hate this CHIT you spend $20,000.00 on a bike and plus the extra money you spend on over priced T-SHIRTS and PARTS and CHITTY SERVICE and before you buy the bike they would let you have there wife for the night but after the deal is done then they look down there nose at you like your trying to get something for free!!! SORRY for RANT just tired of spending all the money I have and they should treat use better, they better start watching AMERICAN THUNDER and V-TWIN MAGAZINE ON the SPEED CHANNEL, I can not believe all the METRICS (JAP) BIKES they are showcasing now, it used to be all HARLEY but now half and half, thats not saying I would ride a jap imatation of a HARLEY but it looks likeSOME are even winningthe biggest custom bike contest in DAYTONA on a YAMAHA ROAD STAR and he says how great yamahas are, just a few years ago he would had to be carry out on a stretcher!! PISSED PURPLE HAZE.

hmmmm... I know absolutely nothing about motors/engines... so forgive my stupidity... but the other day my bike kinda sputtered like it was running out of gas, like it wanted to cut out... but once it warmed up seems to be okay (was in the 80's here).. is this the same issue you were having? and this is the issue on the service bulletin?

Is this for the 06's only? I haven't seen any bullitin on my 07 for this....
And can you give a bit more detail... anyone?

The servicetech at my dealership didn't even look at my bike...I went in armed with a copy of the service bulletinbut I never needed it....Ispent less than five seconds talking to him before he cut me off...he knew exactly what I was talking about. They had 'em in stock and changed 'em out the same day...I'm thinking maybe the 8* problems are worseat higher altitudes (I'm at 5,380 ft. above sea level)

I'm in Korea and I showed the service center here the bulletin, they looked it up and told me they would order them. I've got to finda nice weekend here soon to ride and get them changed because it's a 2 hour ride from here.
I didn't even ask them about it and they changed them for me. I guess that is what happens when you go in for you 5k service in January. They are looking for something to do.
