Default Passenger Grab Rail

Ok...I've searched and searched. Is there not a passenger grab rail made for a 2017 Fat Boy? They make them for the Heritage and Deluxe but not the Fat Boy? Can anyone provide some input or has anyone found something I've missed? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Just cross referencing seat numbers, the heritage and the deluxe take sundowner deep bucket seat #51764-06 and the fatboy takes #51768-06 which indicates the mounting points for the rider seat is different.
Probably a wider frame and struts to accommodate a wider rear tire.

Yep you just verified what I was finding. It's all about that rear fender. Seems like someone would make one.

I didn't find one when I searched. The spacing between the fender strut bolt holes is likely different. An option, maybe not the most desirable, is to purchase one for a Heritage and then drill a hole in the strut and fender to accommodate a new bolt. Who knows when, if ever, they will make one for a '17 Fatty.

How much do you really need the grab rail and how long do you want to wait?

I think it's more the profile of the fender. I have considered just trying to modify one from another bike. I might if I find one cheap enough.

I've looked on ebay. Haven't found anything as of yet I'd be willing to take a chance on.

You might be able to find a bagger handrail at a swap meet.
