I do not have a picture. I did talk to bubbas also and it sounds like they have a sweet set up for the deluxe bags. New lower brackets that also have a quick release.

You can get Easy Brackets for a bit less cash and I know that they work well.

Easy brackets don't work onoem hd bags. They work great on a flat back leather type bags though. The deluxe bag and other oem bags have a metal bracket built into the bag with a hole for a bolt to go through.
One other brand that works with OEM hd bags is
Bare Backs they are a nice quick release system. They do not come with the lower brackets though. The price is a little more compared to the bare backs but when you considerbubbas come with new lower brackets thatwork for after market pipes I think that is the best system out there. If I keep the deluxe bags that is what I am going to go with.
I have the SE double barrel pipes so I do not use the lower bracket on the right side. I did use a threaded stud that made it easy to remove the bags for washing. Remove the nut inside the bag and they were off.

I had Easy Brackets on my '03 Dyna and although they worked ok, I hated how far they moved the bags out from the fender strut. I have Bubba's on my '07 Heritage with the Bubba's sideplates and the bags are no farther out than stock.

Bumping this thread, I am toying the idea of picking up some deluxe bags from ebay. Looking for a good detachable mounting system for the bags that will work with my detachable backrest. Anyone have any luck with either easy brackets or bubbas. Post some pics if you have them. Thanks, Aaron

Aaron,
got the below pics from bubba directly but doen't really tell much. Haven't bought them yet as i wanted to see them installed on our beloved deluxe. Mayb some nice fella is going to share some pics. On the other side am thinking of maybe going completely without the bags - how much are you willing to pay for the deluxe bags? mine are 6 months old and where USD 750+ tax when new..

IDO NOTrecommend the bubba's kit. I had mine installed on an '06 Heritage for a year. At first they were great and I had no problems. Within 6 - 8 months the ***** to connect the bags started to loosen up and would not stay tight when riding. To get them to stay on I had to start using blue locktite on them and bringing a open end wrench with me to get them off. I also bought their quick release side plates and they got so loose that they would shake and make noise. Their support sucks and the first time you have problems they will start ignoring your e-mails and phone calls. I left multiple messages and sent multiple e-mails and messages through their website with no return call or return e-mail.

The quick release on their lower bracket is just a simple chrome threaded **** with a bolt and you'll loose both of them in thefirst 1,000 miles.

When it came time to remove them I realized that the only way to remove them is with some channel locks and that ruins the finish. I went back to the stock setup. Before taking this drastic measure I called them again to get some suggestions on how to get the kit off without damaging the finish but again they wouldn't answer or return my calls.
