V & H Super Radius exhaust modification
Messaged via Chat Vance & Hines today about my 2016 Softail Slim, Super Radius pipes being too quiet...
Upon purchase, my local HD installed these inserting the (included) quite baffles which IMHO are too quite.
Cheyenne at V & H told me I could remove “the end piece” at the end of the pipes easily without any tuning issues. He said it would make a substantial increase with no issues! Yay I was super excited!
But... when I look into the end of the pipes I see the inside of the baffles, nothing resembling an “end piece”. Sure hate to go through the hassle only to discover there is no such “piece”.
Has anyone has done this mod on the Super Radius pipes? If so could you tell me if it was difficult, affected tuning and/or if it made an improvement?
Also HD said if they made changes, louder that I’d have to re tune.
Any info appreciated!
