Driver backrest
I bought the grasshopper for my '06 Deluxe. Removable, semi adjustable and inexpensive.
I also have a Corbin saddle with the built in backrest slot. The backrest slides in so it can be taken off or put on easily as well. I like the corbin back rest a lot better, but the whole enchilada is sitting in a box up in the attic. I decided to have my stock seat re-padded and re-upholstered and had the grasshopper re-covered to match.

I use my 13 HSC oem seat and use the grasshopper back rest.As previously mention its inexpensive, easy install and comfortable.I also have a Mustang vintage solo with back rest.I like my oem and grasshopper better
I have a Mustang vintage solo with a backrest but the backrest will not stay on. Great seat but don't like the look on my bike.

I hear you, but sometimes you need to go comfort over fashion.
I've had mine for about 2 months now and haven't found it to bend (yet). Although the flat steel doesn't seem to be the strongest. I did drill a small hole and inserted a small screw to make it non removable to anyone who came along, and it also helps with the stability.

Any pics of this screw mod you did?
