Took a shot on Amazon for a mini air horn, actually the 4 stars convinced me to try it. Installed today......sounds like an 18 wheeler now. I’m an infrequent horn user but when I use it I want to get attention......great horn. Installed it, tried it, then ordered a spare. 20 bucks.
Used one bolt on the saddlebag frame....done and can still fold the pegs.
Interestingly, that horn cover, or “cowbell” sounds just like a cowbell when held by hand and struck with a drum stick. I actually offered mine to our drummer for that purpose, but he declined.
These little air horns ALL fail in short order. People forget there's a baby compressor and air tank in there, and they start leaking and in no time at all it'll go from a foghorn to a mouse fart.
