This bike is a 2008 FXST. Initially I bought a performance machine 6 piston caliper but it was not that great an improvement. So sold that caliper and bought a larger diameter performance machine brake rotor with the 6 pot caliper to match it. More expensive but much better.

ignore the brake pads comments, the stock bakes suck, i have changed just about everything on my bike internal and external
and the best value and improvement was the performance machine front brake caliper 4 piston, i am sure wilwood would be great too

Does anybody make aftermarket brakes that work better than a broke down garbage truck?

Agree with Dan, the Wilwood calipers were the best low $ improvement I have made

I replace the soles on my boots once a year or every 10,000 miles which ever comes first.

Default Questions New Rider

Yes i just bought a 24 fxbbs 114 street Bob ,blue Burts. And new to riding motorcycles but very versed in riding dirt bikes but anyways my front brakes on my new bike are completely Hard Rock I barely even and the break catches and I can't even really compress the brake handle at all I mean barely when I touch the big handle he responds but I mean I don't even have to like I can't even compress on it at all really..is this normal for motorcycles and if not does that mean bleeding it will work .. Also I seen somebody mentioned something about ABS software when I start up my bike it says no ABS do these bikes come with abs and can we activate it somehow?
