Pic of kuryakyn cruise arm?
I was trying to get an Idea of the different arm lenths between the the standard and the extended model, and thier placement on the bike.. I'm right on the cusp and don't want anything too long either .... its hard to tell from the catalog being it does not give the arm lenth in inches. So a pics of each would help...need to nail everthing the first time funds are tight.! Thanks too all

I've got the Mark III on mine...photos in my album if they help. I'm about 6'1 and I'm stretched all the way out on this setting. I'm just guessing but I would think the extended would allow you to pull the arm back closerwithout interfering with your rear brake. Like I said, I'm guessing. Maybe someone with the extended can chime in. Also there have been several posts about this so If you haven't already you might find some good info if you do a search.

I have the Mark 4 #7841 extended arms on my FatBoy.
I'm 6'2" with a 34" inseam, and I have them adjusted out and fit perfectly. They are set where my heels can rest on the top of the floorboards, while the soles of my boots rest naturally on the cruise arm pegs. Very comfortable, and between them and the floorboards you have an almost endless number of leg/foot positions.
The extended Mark 4 arms have a lot of adjustment build in, so they can be used by people with shorter inseams as well. They should work well with anyone having an inseam of 30" or more.

I just installed the extended MK IV Cruise Arms last week. I've only gotten to take it out a few times so far but I am pleased. Unless you are really short, I would suggest the extended version. I was honestly expecting them to be longer. I need to keep messing with the adjustments. It's just a matter of trial and error to get them set properly. I'm taking a trip next weekend and I can tell they are really gonna make a difference. By the way, if money is tight, you should also check out KW Stretchers at www.kwstretcher.net . I bought them first but they wouldn't fit my Deluxe, so I had to go with Kury.
