Default 2004 heritage classic

I have a 2004 , I replaced the fuel gauge with a willie G skull led gas gauge. since day one the low fuel gas lite is lit with any amount of gas in it. Any fixes? Thanks in advance

I have no knowledge about that fuel gauge...

However, if it is listed as fitting an '04 Heritage, I would suspect that it installs like the OEM. You feed the wires (#26) through the "tunnel" from the fuel gauge recess to the bottom of the tank. You then put on the connector (#25) and plug that into the harness by the back bone of the frame.

Maybe when the new connector (#25) was pinned, and then plugged it into the harness connection, a pin got bent that's not making contact... I'd check that connector..

FWIW... I could not find a Willie G Skull LED gas gauge that fits an '04 Heritage...

I only found one that fits '08+ Softails...

If your gas gauge is #75098-08A, it may not be working correctly because it's not designed to work with your bike...
