Default Seat difference between 92 and 93 Heritage Softail?

The reason I ask is because I am looking at getting a Grasshopper rider backrest like the one I had on my 2000 Fatboy, but their website says 93 and up. The seat that I have on my 92 seems to be the same as the one that I had on my 2000. The bracket simply bolts between the bracket that holds the front ad back seats together.I emailed Grasshopper but thought maybe someone on here would know.
EDIT: During the time that I was typing this someone from Grasshopper replied within 5 minutes of my inquiry, on a Sunday no less! Sounds like it should work as long as the front and rear seats bolt together, which they do.

Call grasshopper. I had a couple of questions and called them. He was very helpful and even gave me 20% off even though the sale had expired. Took my maiden voyage on it today and I think its a winner.
