I want to switch possibly to a Deluxe but am just wondering if it's comfortable for taller riders? If it's a bit low what things have you done to make it more comfortable?

I've read that some seats can raise you 2" or so and that might do the trick. I just love the look of this bike. Thanks.

 

6'4' Mustang seat. Arlen Ness 3" forward kit for the floorboards and controls.... im fine with it.

 

Im 6'2". Highway bars and pegs for the highway and the stock position of the floor boards is OK, I need to get them pushed forward a little.

 

If you put an older Heritage Springer seat on it you can sit back a few inches. They bolt directly on with no adjustments.

 

A Softail is a Softail is a Softail, the stock seat is primarily for shorter riders, although the stock seat really sucks, the Mustang, Danny gray or Corbin will sit you back enough to make the bike very comfortable, your 3" taller than me not sure that would make a real difference though. Look into the Kuryakyn Mark III highway pegs, they are real sleek and help with taller riders without having that big engine guard sticking out, if you buy them be sure to get the longer one's as they come in two different lengths.

 

How much closer do you sit on a Deluxe compared to a Heritage?
The seat height is only about 1.5 inch differance.
