I run a super white 100/90 watt with xenon gas. It's intended for off-road use only and has a bit more of a white look to it when looking straight at the headlight but I never had problems because of it. It's super bright and it'll set you back a few extra bucks but worth it i think.

Caution. The wiring in some Harleys is large enough only for the stock lamps. Go much higher and you could have a problem. Add a light kit for example, along with a hot main lamp and youcould bein for fuse and wiring problems.This is from a GE EE friend who analyzed his Fatboy electrical system. He added heavier lines and a new fuse to solve the problem.

I haven't had any problems with it. Picked it up at my local auto parts store.

Someone else may give you a better choice but that's pretty much what I use except it a 100/80 but I'm sure it will smoke your stock bulb.

The easiest and cheapest upgrades for the headlight bulb is to go to the Sylvania Silerstar bulbs.
They run about $20 but the next step up and maybe the best for stock wires might be the PIAA. But they are going to cost you and don't last very long.
