Mine are buffalo bars from Drag Specialties.......used existing cables though I would recommend going to a SS front brake line. Bars are only $125 or so.

You should be able to use your stock cables with most types of drag bars. I installed a set of Milwaukee Twins 1 1/4"radius barson my 07 standard before I got my apes. No problems with stock cables at that time.

I put NT drags and riserson my FXST without changing any cables, the front brake line was OK , but I didn't like the looks and changed to a NT SS.

Just bought a set of Wild 1 Chubby 501's that work with the stock cables/hand controls (no pics yet...they're still in the box)

Please promise me you will stay away from Carlini T-bars. Definitely the "hyper-charger" of handle bars.

I've got a set of wild 1 560's I'm going to let go. Don't know if you have to change wiring or not, I never got around to putting them on my bike. You can check them out on their web sit. They have pics of their bars on various bikes.
