Not sure what's "new" about them, they have been out over a year now. I looked into them way back when I first got my 07 Custom because I wanted a better sound, but liked the original look of the tapered mufflers. I just haven't been able to get up the "extra" money for upgrades.
Up till now everything I have found out about them tells me that they should be a decent setup.
But they alone are not going to do more than sound better, something thats easily fixable by knocking out the baffle plate inside the stock mufflers for a whole lot less money.
To get any real improvement in performance your going to "have" to do something about the restrictive intake system and EMC maps in addition to the replacing themufflers.
It does little or no good at all, performance wise, to put a better breathing exhaust system on your bike if the engine is still being choked half to death by the stock intake setup. You have to get more air/fuel mix in before you can let it out.
If you do free up the intake your also going to "HAVE" to do something about the ECM maps with aPCIII, SERT, TMax, etc.orthe engine is going to start running even leaner than the factory setup. And that my friend isalmost certainly going to eventually lead tosome kind ofheat related damage to the engine.

Ride safe.[sm=biker2.gif]

I have a set of the New Version Krome Werks.. They are very deep and less restrictive than others. I also have the Rush 1 3/4 baffles and the Cycle Shack That Drag Specialties Sells which are Exactly the same as the Old S/E II's, The Baffles even interchange.... The New Cycle Shack Version of the SEII's work very well with the Map for the Old SEII's... SERT Disk P/N 32117-01J.I'm waiting for my Exhaust to arrive late January/Febuary... The K/W seemed to get some popping on decel.. The C/S's Sound goodand I cant make it pop.. and it starts Idles and pulls very smooth at any gear and all RPM's no flat spots,Runs Real good and much Cooler .. I'm sure you could find a better map for the K/W's but I didn't want to take the time, after trying the C/S..It's very temporary for me..The K/W's get a Excellent right up...

Anyone have the Rush 1.50s on a 96in? I've read they are about the same loudness as the 1.75s but sound more tinny.
