Default front fork reflector removal

does anyone have any ideas on how to remove those ugly front fork reflectors.......i think a nice polished piece of chrome should not be covered by a piece of bright plastic

not a prob, just take a piece of fishing line and use it like a saw between the reflector and fork. there will be some adhesive left on the fork. just use some lighter fluid or goo b gone and it comes right off.
this was the first thing i did when i got my bike home.

I just did it last weekend. Based on what I read here, I heated it up with a hair dryer and used dental floss to get them off. Tried fishing line, but it kept getting stuck. Then I used WD40 to clean the sticky crap off. It took about 15 minutes.

I used a heat gun and heated them up till I could just peel them off with my hands. Real easy and not too much clean up after they came off. I ran my bike with the big radius pipeswith the stock A/C for 800+ miles on mine with no changes to the tune and had zero problems.

Nice ride you got there!

I have taken my rear reflectors off and after reading this I guess I should do the fronts too!
