1990 Heritage Clutch issues
Been having trouble shifting up or down while out riding. I'll pull clutch handle on and can't shift up or down.
Sent bike in charged a couple hundred and noticed that my cable adjustment was 80%maxed out.
Over a week more slack/travel distance kept creeping into my handle.
Now at max adjustment handle has 20% resist with zero resist pure flop 80-90% of cable travel.
Handle has essential zero resistance and is just flopping there.
Cable looks great condition don't think it's stretching.
Took off derby plate, readjusted clutch a smidge while I was there.
On the other side of the clutch idk if the arm on the inside is going back the whole way to pull cable.
What are coming clutch problems on older Softails?
Does anyone have advice?

The cable looks really healthy, tho I believe it has to be stretching. Readjusted the clutch today, I'm at almost 50% on the cable adjustment, but I predict end of month or week adjustment will be maxed out. Cable appears by looks healthy but I believe at this point it has to be the culprit. Or there may be some other variable I should be told to look for?

As of right now the adjustment is set 50% and there's 1/8th inch slack on cable like it should. This morning 26hrs ago I readjusted clutch. The rod through the gearbox is now pushing harder on the diaphragm on the arm where it attaches to cable. At this exact moment it's running good, if I gain massive slack in the next few rides I'm assuming it is the cable stretching?
