Default short slip ons

Just curious if anyone knows of "short" slip ons for 08 Fatboy that do NOT need any adjustment to the system (ECU etc)

I like a shorter exhaust because it reduces the cost of labour when rear wheels need to be removed. Standard length slip ons have to be removed and then replaced everytime and as such the cost of a puncture is very high.

You need to find another shop. They dont charge extra for slipons as they would be the same as working on stock. If you use rush with the 1.75 you dont need to re tune. if you change the breather then yes re tune with fuel management and get a dyno. By the way there are lots of forums about the heat from 07-08 and how to resolve it and run smoother and cooler after doing stage one. It is work it. Thundermax with auto tune and you wont have to pay a shop for the dyno and you can make changes later and not have to dyno.

To answer your question, I don't think they make short slip ons. By design they cannot be, unless you cut them off . You are better off gettinga full exhaustlike V&H big radius. Check theexhaust picture thread, lots of ideas. And you do not need to retune with slip ons only.

So far I've gotone rear puncture after 10,000 miles on the original tire, replaced it, and then after 400 miles got another puncture!![:@]My stealer gave me a break and charged me half of the regular labor the second time. I guess you need to build a relationship with them, don't be a whiner and they will treat you right. Besides you got a nice expensive bike, don't be cheap about it.

My dealer installs tires free if you buy the tire there. They charge 188 for the front or back for Dunlop. I could buy on ebay but then 70 to install it. plus weights.
