Hey Tnharley, if you get the sissy bar you might want to get the cam locks for it, about 35 bucks from harley, man it only takes about 2 seconds to remove it without it, just peace of mind, 250 bucks worth of sissy gone in 2 seconds.

 

Hey Tnharley.....i live in morristown and have road the dragon quit alot.wore off a set of pegs on it.lol..but i ride hard... anyway i get off the boat in 4 more days then my bike goes in the shop for 2 1/2 - 3 days for my new engin build then i will be breaking it in on the dragon as i did when i first got it...man i just love living in east tn.....

 

Good Lord!!! I'm taking the wife out there to do the "Trail" this summer sometime. She's read all up on it and thinks it'd bee kool. I'm wondering how my FXSTC will to 2-up with the skinny front tire and all. I'd rather take the 883 I think?
Those guys on the 1800's were f'n flying. I'd probably have traffic backed up for miles just puttin'.

 

I took it easy myself . There are some bad curves that will get youif you do not pay attention. My advice to everyone is watch the other bikers coming from the other way because they will be in your lane headed straight at you. The dragon is a very nice ride .

 

I've taken my bones through some of these mountain roads here in CO and have loved the way it handles. As you said, like a duck to water.

 

korben you will be ok on the softail my wife and i ride ours up there and have no problem. as far as the two goldwings go...its not every day you go that fast these 2 guys ride the dragon alot and had that side of the dragon closed so they could shot the video, noticed everyone on the side watching and the 2 riders never came upon any other bike or car going the same direction. ride it at your own pace be safe and have fun
