Crossbones question, Does anybody know if the docking hardware kit for bikes with saddlebags (P/N 53930-03) is available in black? I picked my bike up from the dealer after they put the parts on and its chrome. It really doesn’t match the look of the bike.

I will guess no because because i had to get the chome docking hardware for the sissy bar.

 

not fully thought out by HD, or it would be to expensive to produce another part ,just black, for a small market of buyers.
Thats why they are selling night train parts for the xbones, cam cover, primary cover, trans cover, rocker box covers. etc.

 

No its all chrome. One option is to paint the chrome black. Use a 160-200 grit sandpaper to scuff up the chrome then paint it black. Use 600 grit to smooth up and put another coat on or a clearcoat.
