16" front wheel
it reduced the trail slightly, but still noticable.not enough to affect the ride.
yeah, i took it off when i triked it. i woulda loved to keep it on, but the big skins in the back dwarfed the little 16" wheel.

Mine is currently chopped with a seegercycle front end, but I'm hoping to be able to put a road king front end on it. Same with the hard bags. Did it affect the trail because of the standard rake on the softail?
yeah, i don't claim to be an expert on rake and trail, but the even a change to a different sizewheel will alter the trail. i believe mine was diminished some, making it a little lighter to steer.

That's what's very cool about the seegercycle chopper front end. It adds 13 degrees but maintains factory trail. It works on a ball joint system. very cool. But I'm ready for an old man's bike, cause I'm old now. I spend too much time on the highway and looks cool, but...

My 16" has been on for over a year (5k+ miles), and I love it. The bike feels more stable, and more settled in turns. I can remember the old (billet) 21" 'skipping' a bit during high-speed turns on rough pavement- not enough to feel dangerous, just... noticeable. The fat tire doesn't do that at all.
