Default Forcewinder question

So Im thinking of pulling the trigger on a frocewinder for my springer classic. Its an 07 and I cant seem to find the model that would fit it. Im sure it would have to be an xr-2, however looking through JP and a few other aftermarket catalogs its seems they only go up to 06.

I know this cant be right, so who here has an 07 with a forcewinder and what model did you use?

Appreciate the help.

J

You wouldnt happen to know which model it was?

I think I know which one, Im pretty sure it would fit. Does it have its own backplate or used the stock one?

all i can tell you is that the stock breather is sitting on my desk with the gasket attached to it. the forcewinder has a line that runs from the bottom of the air cleaner up to the front and back heads and bolts to it. the part # is 5013-22T-BKD and reads BLK.FWINDER XR2 99-04 TC. the old air cleaner looks like the whole assembly was taken off and the forcewinder attached to the intake from there.

hope that helps.

Look for models that fit either CV carb or Delphi EFI - both have the same screw mount patterns and either will work for you.

If you go with the XR-2 it will have a design that will redirect the oil vapor back into the filter/intake. The older XR model does not but gives you flexibility to add your own breather assembly. For example, you can purchase a mounting bracket that looks similar to the HD Heavy breather bracket. That would allow you to redirect oil vapor back into the intake. Some don't like this design and prefer hoses and other stuff routing oil vapor down onto the ground or to a secondary filter/breather.
