RE: Cross Bones Rear seat and Sissy Bar install...any tricks?
The pilion seat is easy enough to do, but do yourself a favor and buy the piece of plastic film that covers the \\;\\\\\\;fender so the seat dont scratch it because it WILL, its only about 14 bucks from harley. As far as the sissy bars goes, I am going to take for granted that you ordered the mounting hardware for the sissy bar and the relocating kit for the rear blinkers, you will need a bike jack to lift the bike up so the rear wheel lowers from the fender so you can get to the old blinker bolts inside the fender and be able to work on the new set, you will also have to cut and splice your blinker wires. you will also have to take apart the inside of the blinkers to get the nuts off and then back on with the new hardware kit for the blinkers. Hope this helps.

It sure does. \\; \\; Thanks \\; for the advice. \\; I ordered the "hardware Kits" that Harley likes to sell to jack up the total costs. \\; Is there anything tricky about the blinker relocation?

The tricky part is releasing the blinker harneses in the tail light, you will get a picture of it in your relocating kit, I think its upside down though because of the stop light location under the fender of the cross bones, theres a pin you have to push in to release each blinker harness, just use a really small screw driver or something that will fit, once you get the first one the second one only takes a second to do. The other thing is pulling the guts out of the blinker itself, just pull the lenes off then inside you will see like a rubber gasket holdint the guts inside, just use a small flat head screw driver and wedge it in between the gasket and the outer shell of the body of the lens and they will pop out.

Not to start something here but the sissy bar can be installed with a slight modification(dremel tool removing 3/16"x 1" from the bottom rear) without using the relocation kit. This tip came from my dealership(yes, they sold me the relocation kit $35). The only reason I chose this method was i didnt want to "relocate" the TS's. \\;\\\\\\; \\; Its alittle tight but doable and saves 35 bucks.  \\;I also have the bags installed.
