I'm new to the board but will be making my purchase in Nov/Dec. I'm at a total lock between the Custom and the Fatboy. Both look great but I'm moreso interested in the one that is the best ride. Can anyone give me the pros and cons of both? Thanks.

I feel the same way, only about my fatboy. Love the ride, and the looks.

 

I kinda like the Fatboy, this thing rides great.

I am also for the fat boy .I dont ride one but I do ride a heritage classic and the wider tire in front definetly makes for a more comfortable ride. If you plan on riding any long distance I would choose the fatboy.

 

That's going to be a tough one to decide. Even though I own and love my Custom&nbsp\\;if your looking for a long distance rider you might be better off with the Fatty. The heavier front end and tire should be better for long high speed riding.

 

But if the seat were the only thing you were looking at the Customs has to be one of THE best ever put on a Harley. That sucker is VERY comfortable especially for two up riding.

 

Agree with Fat Boy and it now is much cheaper than custom

 

Thanks for the advice guys, I REALLY love the sleak line of the custom but something keeps drawing me to the fatty. I'm short and stocky so that in itself draws me towards it.

I was thinking about vivid black, lowering it 1" and getting a street slammer bar with the reaper wheels. What do you think?
